SHEVLIE POLL GETS IT RIGHT!

Poll released January 30, 2015, accurately predicts Beachwood voters stance on term limits. 

ClevelandOhioFebruary 4, 2015– Shelvie Poll gets it right! 


Shelvie Poll, released January 30, 2015 reported that 52% (fifty-two percent) of likely voters opposed term limits on Mayor and City Council members. The referenced poll reported that a mere 28% (twenty-eight percent) of likely voters favored officials serving no more than three consecutive four-year elective terms, or fourteen consecutive years. At the time, 19% (nineteen percent) were still undecided.

 

On Tuesday, February 3, 2015, a special election was held and the unofficial Cuyahoga County Board of Election results Beachwood, Ohio reports that voters oppose the Charter Amendment for terms limits with 52%  (fifty-two percent)voting no. Beachwood voters opposed term limits 51.9 to 48.1. Based on the reported election results, Shelvie Poll got it right!
